9 PM Update

The winds have picked up along the coast. Emera Maine is reporting that there are 778 customers without power 434 customers in Hancock County and 321 in Washington County.

4 PM Update

Emera Maine is reporting that there are 408 customers without power

The wind, and freezing rain is playing havoc with the distribution system of Emera Maine (formerly Bangor Hydro).

As of 2:30 Emera Maine is reporting that there are 1708 customers without power, with 1008 of them in Penobscot County. You can click HERE to see the latest outage map. Emera Maine is expecting that those without power should have it restored by this evening, although additional wind and outages could delay the restoration times.
