Police have charged two men believed to have stolen from Damon's Beverage Barn on Christmas Eve. One man was taken into custody while his nephew remains at large.

Augusta Police were called to Damon's Beverage Barn on Christmas Day for a reported burglary that occurred the night before. Evidence collected at the scene lead police to two suspects, 45-year-old Anthony Murphy and his nephew, 26-year-old Justin Murphy, both of Augusta.

On December 30th, police searched the home the two men shared on Fowler Street and seized property associated with the burglary. Anthony Murphy was located a short time later and taken into custody. He's charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Theft, and Probation Revocation. Bail was set on the new criminal charges at $5,000.

Justin Murphy had not been located, as of Tuesday afternoon. He has a warrant out for his arrest is being sought for Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Mischief in connection with the incident at Damon's. Anyone with information about Justin's whereabouts is asked to contact the Augusta Police or their local police department.
