Police Investigate Stabbing in Bangor

Bangor Police are investigating a stabbing overnight. The victim, a woman in her early 20's, is said to have been seriously injured.

WABI-TV reports that officers were called to an apartment building on Acadia Place around 10 o'clock Thursday night. When they arrived, in the Old Capehart neighborhood, they found a woman with stab wounds. There's no word on her condition, other than that her injuries were serious.

Sergeant Tim Cotton told TV-5 that officers found a man near the Downeast School and took him into custody. His name has not been released and there's no word on the motive for the attack.
