Police Chase Pigs Out of the Road

It sounds like the beginning of a joke...so the cops were sent to deal with pigs....(insert punchline here). But that's exactly what happened in Bangor Thursday morning. No joke!

Bangor Police were sent to Outer Union Street before dawn to chase pigs out of the road. And true to the department's new embracing of Facebook, pictures were taken and then posted. I guess moving pigs out of the road was probably easier than when they had to capture the horse on Hammond Street. Although pigs can be pretty stubborn!
