Phelps Named Player of the Week

MDI's Jon Phelps was named Big East Player of the Week for the week ending December 14th. Phelps has led the Trojans to a 3-0 start.

In the December 7th game against Old Town in Bar Harbor, Phelps had 25 points including 4 3-pointers. In the game on December 11th in Bar Harbor, Phelps scored 17points including 2 3-pointers in the Trojan 51-28 victory over Foxcroft Academy. On December 14th, Phelps had 16 points for MDI in their 53-43 victory at Hermon.

Foxcroft Academy's Brianna Skolfield was named Big East Player of the Week for the Girl's teams. Skolfield scored 28 points in the Foxcroft Academy 45-38 victory over Ellsworth on December 6th and scored 20 points against MDI in Foxcroft Academy's 68-46 loss at home on December 11th.
