It is definitely kitten season at the SPCA of Hancock County!

They have some outgoing kittens, some shy kittens, and even some that still need a little socialization to feel comfortable with people.  They have orange kittens, tabby kittens, black kittens, tuxedo kittens, silky kittens, and fluffy kittens.

The folks at the shelter do recommend that if you have no other animals at home that you consider adopting two kittens for various reasons.  They'll never be bored as two young cats will keep each other busy, wear each other out, and then sleep well at night!

And with that, the folks at the shelter will offer the second kitten at half the adoption fee, the entertainment value is priceless, and you'll know that they'll have company when you're not at home!

Of course, there are plenty of adults and middle aged cats available as well.  If a kitten is too spunky for your household, please consider adopting one of the more mature cats!

Call the shelter at (207) 667-8088 to schedule a meeting, or just drop by!
