Nearly 4000 Emera Maine Customers Without Power Friday Morning

Nearly 4000 Emera Maine customers were without power on Mount Desert Island on Friday, December 16th, with power having gone out at around 8:34 AM. According to the Emera Maine Live Power Outage Map, power is estimated to be restored around 11 AM

Temperatures in Bar Harbor at 9:19 were -3 with the wind chill of -22.  A call to Emera's Customer Care Center said that the power was turned off so crews could safely remove a tree from the power lines.
