Meet “Troy the Trojan” [PHOTOS&VIDEO]

MDI High School had a pep rally on Thursday, November 3rd to cheer on the MDI Football Team in their semifinal game Friday night against Oceanside, as well as cheering on the Boy's and Girl's Cross Country Teams competing in the State Championship meet in Belfast on Saturday, November 5th. At the pep rally, MDI High School unveiled their new mascot "Troy the Trojan"

Here's the video of the pep rally today. The MDI Band played "Jesus Christ Superstar" while the Cheerleaders formed a tunnel, and Troy ran out onto the floor.

Troy the Trojan will be at the semifinal game against Oceanside on Friday, November 4th and available for pictures. The Friday night game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA as well as on WDEA Internet Radio.  Jeff Zaman is planning on livestreaming the football game on the MDI High School You Tube page.
