Meet MDI Teacher Elana Strout [VIDEO]

This is the second of our series of Meet the MDI Teacher. This week, WDEA's Chris Popper sat down with Elana Strout.

Elana Strout is a 3rd year teacher at MDI High School, and is a MDI High School graduate, and went to college at the College of the Atlantic. She did her student teaching at MDI High School. She is a freshman social studies teacher, and also is the co-facilitator of the
Eastern Maine Skipper's Program at MDI High School.

Her love for the school, teaching and the Eastern Maine Skipper's Program is palpable and contagious as you can see from the video.
