MDI Volleyball Sweeps Bucksport

The MDI Volleyball Team defeated Bucksport on Monday, October 19th on Senior Afternoon at Bernard Parady Gymnasium 3-0. The individual set scores were 25-9, 26-24 and 25-17.

It was senior night and it was bittersweet.  The girls got the victory, but for the seniors, it was a poignant reminder that this was their last regular season home game.  The girls played great and we will miss them all, they have done so much for this team.  On the bright side we get one more home game on Thursday when we will host Cheverus in the first round of the playoffs.  So now we have that to prepare for so we can keep moving forward

MDI finishes the regular season in 7th place in the Heal Point Standings with a record of 8-6. They will play host to #10 Cheverus on Thursday at 6 PM. Cheverus has a record of 4-10. MDI defeated Cheverus 3-0 back on Saturday, September 12th
