MDI Volleyball Defeats Bucksport 3-2

The MDI Trojans volleyball team traveled to Bucksport on Wednesday, September 18th and came away with a hard fought victory, defeating the Golden Bucks 3-2 sets. Set scores were , 23-25, 25-19, 13-25, 25-13, 15-12. With the victory, MDI remains unbeaten at 4-0, while Bucksport fell to 1-3.

From Coach Corey:

MDI picked up its 4^th win against a relentless Bucksport team.  Statistically we were about where we want to be in a number of categories but we had trouble finishing the ball today.  The girls came through again when it mattered most, showing strong mental toughness.  But we need to continue to work hard in transition and focus on being more effective with the first ball.  Looking forward to WA at home on Friday; it should be a great match.
