MDI Unified Basketball [VIDEO]

I spent a fantastic afternoon at MDI High School on Tuesday, January 19th, watching the MDI High School United Basketball Team practice. This is the first year that MDI is fielding a United Basketball Team, and there are 15 players on the roster. There are 40 schools playing in this MPA sanctioned sport, and the MDI Unified Basketball Team will play a 8 game schedule.

The MDI Unified Basketbal Team Roster is comprised of Brittany Corson, Carmeron Swan, Casey Roberts, Drake Janes, Faith Mitchell, Isaac Philbrook, Jacob Fallica, Kyle Lamson, Maddy Shields, Matt Lambert, Nellie Page, Nick Taylor, Peter Philbrook, Shelby Parsons and Zachary Johnson.

Student Coaches are Cassidy Parady and Devin Parlatore.

Adult Coaches are Chelsea McCurdy, Bunky Dow, Devin Young, Kyle McKim and Matt Umphrey.
