MDI Boy’s Soccer Beats Presque Isle 3-2 in OT; MDI Girls Falls 1-0 to Presque Isle

The MDI Boy's and Girl's Soccer Teams took the long ride up to Presque Isle to play the Wildcats on Saturday, September 21st.

The MDI Boys won their game 3-2 in overtime.

MDI received goals from Seb Cullen, Bos Lisy, and Corin Baker. Seb Cullen had 2 assists and Corin Baker had an assist as well.

In the JV game, Presque Isle won 1-0.

The Presque Isle Girls beat MDI 1-0.

The MDI Boys are now 2-2-2. They will host Ellsworth on Wednesday, September 25th at 6 p.m.

The Presque Isle Boys are now 1-3. They will travel to Caribou to play the Vikings on Wednesday, September 25th at 7 p.m.

The MDI Girls are 0-4 and will host Ellsworth on Tuesday, September 24th at 6 p.m.

In your nomination please include stats, the school and why they should be athlete of the week. Nominations will be accepted through Sunday, September 22nd, with voting taking place September 23rd-26th with the winner of Week 3 being announced on September 27th.
