The MDI Boy's Soccer Team improved to 4-6-2 on the season with a 5-0 shutout victory over the Caribou Vikings in Bar Harbor on Saturday, October 8th.

MDI led 2-0 at the end of the 1st Half, as Trevor Morrison put MDI on the scoreboard with 28:11 remaining in the Half, with an assist by Joe Grubb. It was 2-0 after Oliver Johnston found the back of the net, with 10:36 remaining in the Half, assisted by Adam Bygdeson.

Bygdeson would score a goal of his own, to put MDI up 3-0 with 22:44 remaining in the 2nd Half. With 16:55 remaining, Joe Grubb converted a direct kick to make it 4-0. The final goal was tallied by Simon Davis, with 7:19 remaining in the contest.

MDI has 2 games remaining, Senior Recognition Night on Friday, October 14th against Ellsworth at 6 PM followed by a game at Hermon on Monday, October 17th at 6 PM.

Caribou is 1-9-1 and plays host to Old Town on Monday, October 10th at 3 PM.
