MDI ADULT ED SUCCESS STORY

Congratulations to the 10 students who completed their High School Equivalency Diplomas this year through the MDI Adult Education Program and a special congratulations to Christina Hobbs who earned the highest cumulative total this year of all the students!

You may recognize Christina Hobbs name here on the WDEA website. She gave birth to the 1st baby born at MDI Hospital in 2016, on January 2nd. She completed the program through MDI Adult Education with a cumulative grade of 90 out of 100, while caring for two small children, ages 4 and 6 months!

When I reached Christina on Thursday, July 7th she told me she had enrolled today in the Medical Assisting Program through Eastern Maine Community College in Ellsworth, and her future plans included attending Nursing School once she obtained her Medical Assisting degree!
