MDI 6 GSA 0 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Boy's Soccer team picked up a much needed win over George Steven's Academy on Friday, October 3rd in Bar Harbor, defeating the Eagles 6-0.

Joe Grubb  had 2 goals , Johnathan Romero scored 2 goals , Jack Sasner had a goal and Thomas Paola scored a goal as well. Kendrew Van Gorder was in goal and recorded the shutout for the Trojans.

With the victory, MDI improves to 3-4-1 on the season. Next week will be a busy week for the Trojans as they have three big games; Monday, October 6th at Ellsworth at 6:30 PM, Wednesday October 8th at George Steven's Academy at 4 PM and Saturday October 11th home against Presque Isle at 3 PM.

George Stevens Academy falls to 3-7-1. The Eagles host MDI on Wednesday, October 8th at 4 PM and play at Bucksport on Thursday, October 9th at 4 PM.
