Four people were arrested and a large seizure of drugs, guns and money was made in Waldo County this week, authorities say.

Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says multiple agencies, including the Maine State Police, the Maine Department of Corrections and the Waldo County Sheriff's office were involved in executing a search warrant on a residence at 23 Gardner Drive in Brooks.

"The search warrant was the result of a months-long investigation during which Troopers identified the residence as a source of supply for fentanyl and crack cocaine in the greater Waldo County area. During the search, law enforcement officers recovered multiple firearms, a significant quantity of cash, approximately 87 grams of fentanyl powder, 5 grams of crack cocaine, and illegally possessed prescription drugs."

Two residents of Brooks, 38-year-old Ian Freeman, 39-year-old Jamie Freeman and 38-year-old Joseph Hills were arrested and charged with drug trafficking charges and Possession of a Firearm by a prohibited person.

38-year-old Joseph Hills, also of Brooks, was charged with possession.

And 21-year-old Nature Gordon of New York was also arrested and charged with drug trafficking, as well.

Authorities are still investigating the matter. The individuals were transported to the Waldo County Jail after their arrest.
