One Last Maine Road Trip: Funtown Splashtown USA Closes Labor Day

The summer of 2026 is winding down, which is kind of a bummer, but there's still time for one last road trip, and if fun in the sun is what you're looking for, look no further.

The iconic Funtown Splashtown USA, located at 774 Portland Road in Saco, has been serving up good times to people from New England and beyond since 1967!

With 50 rides, water slides and pools, there's something for everyone, making it the perfect place to squeeze in one last summer adventure. And don't forget the games, plenty of dining options, and a gift shop, too.

But don't wait too long! Funtown Splashtown USA is getting ready to wrap up its 2026 season, and Labor Day weekend is your last chance to visit before the park closes for the year.

Here's what's happening during the final weekend:

Friday, September 4: Funtown is open from 11am to 6pm, while Splashtown is open from 11am to 5pm.

Saturday, September 5: It's the big one! Funtown is open from 11am to 10 pm, with an awesome fireworks show planned for 9:30pm the evening. Splashtown will be open from 11am to 6pm.

Sunday, September 6: Funtown is open from 11am to 6pm, and Splashtown runs from 11am to 5pm.

Monday, September 7: Labor Day: The final day of the season! Funtown is open from 11am to 6pm, while Splashtown is open from 11am to 5pm.

Then, on Tuesday, September 8, Funtown Splashtown USA closes for the season.
