Maine’s ‘Endless Yard Sale’ Returns to Orrington This Week!

The mother of all yard sales is back for another year!

It's Maine tradition to spend a lazy Saturday, or Sunday, cruising around and checking out yard sales. As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure, so with that in mind, there is a huge event coming this weekend, that will satisfy the yard sale lover in you.

You can celebrate Maine's 204th and Orrington's 236th birthday at Orrington's Old Home Week, July 11th-July 20th. This week-long celebration starts with the Endless Yard Sale, and has a weekend full of fun events.

Over 100 households participated last year, covering over 70 miles of roads. Thousands of treasure seekers from as far away as Florida, came to find the best bargains, so you can expect the same this July.

The "Endless Yard Sale" will be held July 11th-13th. You will have 10 hours to browse each day, from 7am-5pm.

Visitor Tips:
Expect increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic throughout the town. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and be aware of frequent stops and pedestrians .
