Officials a truck crash in Clifton is one of many incidents they're dealing with as driving conditions have become treacherous.

Police Around Maine are Reporting Crashes Due to Road Conditions

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says a large truck has crashed on Route 9 in Clifton, near Park's Pond. As of 4:30 Monday afternoon, the road in that area has been reduced to one lane and traffic is being delayed. Facebook scanner pages are full of reports of slide-offs and roll-overs, so drivers are advised to take it slow.

Speed Limits on I-95 Have Been Reduced to 45 mph

The Maine DOT Is advising residents to check the National Weather Service forecast maps before heading out on the road. New England 511 reports speed limits are reduced to 45 mph on the interstate.
