For the most part, we have had a very mild fall.

The temperatures have been above average and we have not had a lot of rain.  So far, this has been one of those autumns where you may have to wear a fleece or flannel to work in the morning, but you'll be in a t-shirt by the afternoon.

As a kid, I used to love to play in the snow.  Growing up in Aroostook County, Maine, in the 1980s and 1990s, we used to have really snowy winters.  Our snowfalls were often measured in feet!  My favorite thing to do was to build snow forts.  We would find a snowbank and tunnel into it.  We'd often end up digging upward so that we could build a trench on top of the fort.  It was so much fun.
