The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a dog that went missing when the vehicle it was riding in crashed in Orland on Wednesday.

Deputies say the dog is a Jack Russell terrier named Rebel.

They say Rebel came up missing after a serious motor vehicle crash on Route 1 in Orland.

The accident involved a Ford pickup truck and a Honda CRV. The two vehicles collided near Heritage Lane and the Big Apple convenience store. The driver of the CRV was seriously injured and transported to a local hopital by LifeFlight.

Anyone who sees the dog is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 667-7575.
