Ellsworth Volleyball Team Defeats Brewer In Thrilling Match

The Ellsworth Volleyball Team defeated the Brewer Witches 3-1 in Brewer on Tuesday, October 7th. The individual set scores were 25-22. 26-24, 25-27 and 25-15.

Individual Standouts were:

Caitlin Jenkins: 2 aces, 7 kills, 1 block, 2 assist, 11 digs
Sophia Harmon: 1 ace, 2 kills, 17 assists, 5 digs
Lauren Young: 2 aces, 12 kills, 1 block, 12 digs
Jordin Mann: 3 aces, 17 assists, 8 digs
Sophie Beal: 7 aces, 12 kills, 1 block, 1 assist, 13 digs
Austyn Atherton: 3 aces, 7 kills, 1 assist, 11 digs

Ellsworth is now 6-6. The Eagles play host to the Hampden Academy Broncos on Tuesday, October 14th at 6 p.m.

Brewer is now 8-3. They will play in East Machias on Thursday, October 9th when they play Washington Academy at 6 p.m.

The JV team won 2-1 . Individual set scores were 23-25, 15-16, 16-14
