Ellsworth Volleyball Falls to Machias

The Ellsworth Eagles fell to Machias 3-0 on Thursday, September 17th in a volleyball game played at Katsiaficas Gymnasium at Ellsworth High School. The Bulldogs defeated the Eagles

Machias won in straight sets, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-23. Sammy Mason had 13 kills for Ellsworth while Rachel bunker had 4 aces. Delaney Sargent had 20 service receptions and 16 digs. Lexi Hennigan had 13 assists.

Ellsworth is now 2-2 and will play their 4th game of the week when they play host to Thornton Academy on Saturday, September 19th at 5:30 PM.

Machias is undefeated at 5-0. They play at Woodland on Monday, September 21 at 4 PM
