The Ellsworth Boy's Soccer Team traveled to Old Town on Monday afternoon, September 26th and came away with a 2-1 victory over the Coyotes.

Dylan Taplin scored his first varsity goal for Ellsworth, with 1:26 remaining in the 1st Half, off of an assist from Jack McKechnie.

Ellsworth led 1-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half, Ryan Conory scored his 1st varsity goal from Ellsworth with 14:15 left, with an assist from Dylan Taplin.

Old Town narrowed the lead with a goal with 3:45 remaining, but couldn't equalize and Ellsworth came away with the 2-1 victory.

Ellsworth had 13 shots and 7 saves, while Old Town had 7 shots and 13 saves.

Ellsworth is now 5-2-1 and plays at home against Presque Isle on Wednesday, September 28th at 5:30 PM on the football field.

Old Town is now 3-4 and plays host to Orono on Tuesday, October at 3:30 PM
