Ellsworth Kindergarten Registration and Screening May 5 and May 12

If you have a child or children who will be 5 years old on or before October 15, 2023, and you live in the City of Ellsworth, you will want to call the Ellsworth Elementary School to set up an appointment for kindergarten registration/screening.

This year, Ellsworth Elementary School will be screening the incoming kindergarten students at the time of registration, so children need to be present. The process of registration and screening will take approximately 1.5 hours.

Appointments will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday May 5th and Friday May 12th. Parents should call Mrs. Cox at 667-6241 extension 2 to set up an appointment.

You will need to bring your child's original birth certificate, immunization records, a current photo of your child and proof of residency in Ellsworth (tax bill, utility bill etc.) The Ellsworth School Department will also need any court documents (custody) that relates to the child.
