The Ellsworth - Presque Isle game was VERY physical, right from the beginning and continued up until the final whistle. Receiving yellow cards for Presque Isle were #10 Ansumana Morrow, #20 Tyler Seeley,  and #5 Ben Nickerson. Receiving cards for Ellsworth were #9 Anthony Gardner and #7 Griffin Nightingale.

Ellsworth went on the scoreboard with 32:08 left in the 1st half when Brandon Braley scored. Ellsworth then scored two goals quickly,  with 8:59 left in the 1st half Dagan Berenyi headed in a goal, and then with 7:39 left, Ben Haslam scored for the Eagles, and that made the score 3-0 at the half.

With 25:43 left in the second half, an Ellsworth Eagle was tripped in the box, and Logan Dyer scored on a penalty kick to make the score 4-0.

With 22:08 left in the game, Ben Haslam netted his second goal for the Eagles, and the score was 5-0.

With 21:18 left Ellsworth was awarded another penalty kick, and this time goalkeeper Steven Mahon came down to take the kick. His kick was stopped by Presque Isle goalie Cody Lyford, and Mahon was forced to sprint back to defend the Eagle's net as play continued.

Ellsworth controlled possession for most of the contest, as the game was played in the Presque Isle half for the better part of the game. Mahon was never really challenged in goal, as he recorded the shutout.
