The Ellsworth American reports that the City of Ellsworth has narrowed down the search for the next City Manager to two, David Cole, the interim City Manager and Angus Jennings a resident of Concord, Massachusetts.

Cole has been the interim City Manager since Michelle Beal left to become the Chief Operating Officer of Rudman and Winchell. Cole owns David Cole Consulting and was the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Transportation and Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Maine Development Corporation.

Jennings is the owner of A.G Jennings Consulting Firm which specializes on planning, zoning and real estate issues.

The public is invited to meet the candidates. Jennings will be available on Tuesday June 16th from 4:30 - 6:30 PM in the auditorium of the 2nd floor of Ellsworth City Hall. Cole will be available on Wednesday, June 17th from 4:30 - 6:30 PM in the auditorium of the 2nd floor of Ellsworth City Hall.

The Ellsworth City Council is expected to offer one of the two candidates the position as City Manager by the end of June
