Ellsworth Challenger Little League [PHOTOS]

My heart was full yesterday, Saturday, October 8th as I attended the final game of the fall season and the award ceremonies for the Ellsworth Challenger Little League at DeMayer Field in Ellsworth.

The two teams played a two inning game, where everyone hits, everyone scores and everyone has a great time! All the children were announced over the PA system! It was Little League at it's best!

After the game, all the Buddies were awarded certificates and all the Challenger Little League Athletes received medals.

I cover lots and lots of sporting events. This one ranks up there with the best of them. It reminds me of the 2 Unified Basketball Games I broadcast this past winter. I smiled the entire time broadcasting them! I spoke with Dan Clifford the Ellsworth High School Principal and he told me EHS is applying for a grant in the hopes they might have a Unified Basketball Team this winter!
