The Ellsworth Boy's Soccer team played host to Old Town, playing on the football field at the high school, and the Eagles came away with the victory, defeating the Coyotes 4-0.

Conor Maguire scored for Ellsworth at the  33:19 mark in the first half with an assist from Anthony Gardner.  Valter Moeller scored for the Eagles at the 20:47 mark.  And with four minutes and two seconds left in the first half Jack Weeks scored with an assist from Anthony Gardner. That made the score 3-0 at the end of the first half. Nick Bagley was in goal for the first half for Ellsworth and recorded 0 saves.

In the second half Conor Maguire scored  at 29:47 with an assist from Jeff Weeks,  for his second goal of the game, and that's how the game ended up, with Ellsworth winning  the game 4-0.

Bruce St. Peter was in goal the second half for Ellsworth and had 1 save.  Austin Sheehan played the whole game in goal for Old Town with a total of 15 saves.

Ellsworth is now 8-0 on the season, and plays host to MDI on Monday, October 6th at 6:30 PM  Old Town is now 6-2-1 and plays host to Orono on Tuesday, October 7th at 3:30 PM
