The Ellsworth Boy's Soccer Team lost their 1st game of the season, in overtime, losing 2-1 to the Old Town Coyotes at the football field in Ellsworth on Wednesday, September 7th.

Old Town scored the first goal, at 23:55 in the 1st Half when Sam Bartlett found the back of the net.

Ellsworth controlled the ball the majority of the game, keeping it in the Old Town end, and hit the crossbar numerous times. The Eagles were able to tie the score with 2:13 remaining in regulation when Sam Pelletier scored.

In overtime, Niko Knapp scored assisted by Bartlett to give the Coyotes the win with 1:56 left in the 1st overtime period.

Ellsworth is now 2-1 and will play host to George Stevens Academy on Monday, September 12th at 6 PM in a game that will be played on the football field at the high school.

Old Town 1-1, will play host to Caribou on Saturday, September 10th at 3 PM.
