Ellsworth 9-10 Softball Beats Machias Tuesday

The Ellsworth 9-10 Softball All-Star Team beat Machias on Tuesday, June 26th and are now 1-0 in the double elimination tournament. They were scheduled to play Coastal on Thursday, but because of the impending rain, that game has been postponed until Friday, June 29th. The game will take place at the George Stevens Softball Field behind the Fairgrounds at 5:30 PM.

The Ellsworth Team is coached by Josh Stevens assisted by Steve Sullivan and Ron Bean. Team members include Elizabeth Boles, Anna Stevens, Lily Bean, Jayden Sullivan, Natale Jagels, Savannah Edgecomb, Callie Chase, Camryn Blugh, Brielle Grindle, Kaylee Bagley, Lily Alley and Sydney Mason.

In Tuesday's victory over Machias Elizabeth Boles, Lily Bean, Natalie Jaegels, Savannah Edgecomb each had a single. Jayden Sullivan had 2 singles.
