Ellsworth 10 MDI 6

The Ellsworth Girl's Softball team defeated MDI in Bar Harbor in the last game of the season 10-6. The win vaulted Ellsworth to 10th place in Heal Points, while MDI finished 13th. Both Ellsworth and MDI will play prelim games on the road if the current standings stay true with one more day left for games to be played

Mariah Brown picked up the win for Ellsworth, pitching a 7 inning complete game. She allowed 9 hits, 6 runs, 5 of which were earned. She struck out 3 and walked 2.

Aubrey Boyce took the loss for MDI. She pitched the first 3.1 innings, allowing 8 hits, 7runs, 2 of which were earned. She struck out 1 and walked 1. Haley Littlefield pitched the final 3.2 innings allowing 3 hits, 3  runs, all earned and walked 1, striking out none.

For Ellsworth Leah Stevens was 3-5 with 1 RBI. Hannah Sargent was 0-5 with 3 RBI. Caitlin Bean was 2-3 with a double. Emily Berry was 1-3 with 1 RBI. Callie Hammer was 2-4 with 1 RBI. Shelby Cote was 1-3.and Mariah Brown was 2-4.

For MDI, Darcy Kanu was 1-4. Molly Carroll was 1-3 with 2 RBIs. Cassidy Parady was 2-3 with 1 RBI. Alaina Duley was 1-4 with a RBI. Katie Guarino was 1-4. Riley Mooers was 1-2 and Haley Littlefield was 2-3

Ellsworth finishes the regular season at 7-9 while MDI finshes the season at 6-10
