Elllsworth Boys Beat Presque Isle 61-45 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Boys Basketball Team beat Presque Isle 61-45 on Saturday, January 25th to go 1-1 on their trip to Aroostook County.

On Saturday, the Wildcats took a 18-17 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. Ellsworth led 23-22 at the end of the 1st Half and 41-35 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Kyle Kenny with 21 points. Brayden King had 11 points and Jackson Barry had 9 points. Dawson Curtis and Bryce Hart each had a 3-pointer. The Eagles were 7-12 from the free throw line.

Presque Isle was led by Brent Greenlaw with 16 points and 2 3-pointers. Cruze Casavant had 10 points with a pair of 3-pointers. Kason Bua and Brodey McPherson each had a 3-pointer. The Wildcats were7-12 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 12-2 and will host John Bapst on Wednesday, January 29th at 7 p.m.

Presque Isle is now 7-8. They will travel to play Bucksport on Wednesday, January 29th at 6:30 p.m.
