EHS Grad Is World Champion!

How did you spend your Friday afternoon? Ellsworth High School Grad Maureen (Whalley) Beck spent it in Paris, competing in the International Federation of Sport Climbing Championship in the Paraclimbing Division!

Not only did she compete.... She WON! She and Melinda Vigh from Hungary made it to the top of the rock wall, but Beck won because of her time and is now the 2 time World Champion!

I can't even imagine climbing the wall with 2 hands, let alone 1!
