After a long winter the first baseball games in state were played Friday and the Husson University Eagles swept a double-header from UMaine Farmington.In game one Robert Graff pitched 6 innings of 5 hit ball to lead the Eagles to a 3-2 win. Andrew Curran and J.T. Whitten supplied the bulk of the offense combining for 4 hits, an rbi and two runs scored.

In the second game Kyle Bishop drove in 2 runs as Husson took a 4-1 win and improve their record to 4-6. Christian Corneil added an rbi single and a stolen base.

Dennis O'Neil picked up the save in both games while striking out 4 of the six batters he faced.

Next up for Husson is a double header against Colby-Sawyer on both Saturday and Sunday at the Winkin Complex.
