The Penobscot County sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in locating the man responsible for robbing a bank in Corinth yesterday. They are now also seeking a bright yellow, sporty compact car, possibly with a fin on the trunk.

The vehicle was seen traveling slowly along Route 43 between the Route 15 intersection and the Puddledock Road between 8 and 9:15 yesterday morning. Chief Deputy Troy Morton said in a press release that the car was traveling back and forth, east and west on Route 43 and may have pulled to the side of the road to let traffic pass.

It was just after 9 yesterday morning when a while male wearing a dark hooded jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, green and white gloves, a black ski mask, sunglasses, and jeans walked into the Camden national Bank and demanded money. He fled on foot, traveling north on Route 15 to the Hudson Road and was last seen running east toward Hudson near Morrison Avenue.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Penobscot County Sheriff’s office.
