A West Virginia man faces murder charges in a road rage incident in Pennsylvania that left a man from Maine dead last year.

John Wayne Strawser Jr., 38, of Belington, West Virginia, was charged Monday with first-degree murder in the death of Timothy Davison, according to a report from WHTM TV.

Davison, 28, of Poland, Maine was shot and killed in the incident on I-81 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania in January 2014.

Police say someone in a blue Ford Ranger pursued Davison for miles before they ran him off the road. They say after the wreck, Strawser got out of the truck and fired several shots into Davison’s vehicle.

The WHTM report quotes authorities as saying it appears the attack was specifically intended for someone else.

A reward for information leading to an arrest in the case reached $60,000.
