The Red Sox used 10 players who were with Triple-A Pawtucket a few weeks ago to beat the Tampa Bay Rays last night 11-3. Garin Cecchini hit his first major league home run and was on base three times. Xander Bogaerts had a three hit night. Bryce Brentz had two hits.

In the pitching department, Anthony Ranaudo, Drake Britton and Edwin Escobar held the Rays in check.

It's the 69th win of the season and that ties the win total from Bobby Valentine's 2012 last place team.
