The Hancock County Planning Commission will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, August 28th. The collection will take place at Ellsworth High School from 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. This collection will be for Liquid Materials hazardous waste only! No electronics or other hardware products will be accepted.

At the Monday, August 16th AOS 91 School Board Meeting, board members voted that masks must be worn indoors at all AOS 91-MDI Regional School System buildings. Masks are optional outdoors.

Not only does this hike have a beautiful panoramic view of the coast, it has an interesting history.
