You're invited to the 9th Annual Bean Supper on Thursday, January 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at MDI High School hosted by the MDI Historical Society. Guests will enjoy a traditional New England supper featuring a variety of beans baked by local community bakers accompanied by hot dogs, coleslaw, pickles, brown bread, cookies, and pies.

There was quite the celebration in Germany on November 9th as Germany celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. If you weren't born, you really have to check out the video as this was a very momentous occasion

Today marks the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Invasion at Normandy, which took place June 6th, 1944.

January 28, 1986, Space Shuttle Challenger exploded live on television. On board were Mission Specialist Ellison S. Onizuka, Teacher-in-Space participant Sharon Christa McAuliffe, Payload Specialist Greg Jarvis and mission specialist Judy Resnick Pilot Mike Smith, commander Dick Scobee and mission specialist Ron McNair.

Today is December 7th, 2016, the 75th anniversary of Japan's attack on the US Navy at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, a "Date that will live in infamy". Veterans and survivors are heading back to Pearl Harbor including Ray Chavez, the oldest living Pearl Harbor survivor at 104. Here's his inspiring story of his 3 year mission to return to Pearl Harbor as told by NBC News.
