The 30th Annual Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl will be played on July 20th at Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine. Two MDI football players and one Ellsworth football player have been selected to represent the East.

Ellsworth High School's Camden Holmes and MDI High School's Liam Sullivan were named to Varsity Maine's Boy's All State Swim Team, in a list published on Sunday, March 24th.

At the all-school assembly on Tuesday, March 19th, the 2018 Fall MDI Golf Team was recognized, accepting their PVC Class B Regional Championship Banner.
