Card Scores 12 in North Loss

Ellsworth Eagle senior Madison Card scored 12 points, hitting 4 3-pointers as the McDonald's AA/A/B North team lost to the South team 86-69 at Husson University in the annual McDonald's Senior All Star Game.

Shannon Todd of York High School was the high scorer of the game with 18 points, while Maddie Hasson of South Portland High School had 15 points for the victorious South. Tianna Sugars led the North with 16 points while Emily Jacques of Edward Little High School had 15 points.

MDI's Sierra Tapley and Kelsey Shaw were also selected to the North squad, but did not play in the game.
