Bucksport Girl’s Soccer Nipped By Orono 1-0

The Bucksport Girl's Soccer Team played host to Orono on Wednesday afternoon, September 21st and the Orono Red Riots nipped the Lady Bucks 1-0.

Both teams played to a scoreless draw at the end of the 1st Half, and the game remained scoreless until 30:24 remaining in the 2nd Half, when Daphne Murphy found the back of the net for Orono.

Bucksport's Bree Coombs had 8 saves on 9 shots and Orono's Maggie Coutts had 9 saves on 10 shots.

Bucksport is now 3-3 on the season, and plays at GSA on Saturday, September 24th at 11 AM.

Orono is 4-1-1 and plays Central High School in East Corinth on Friday, September 23rd at 4 PM.
