The Bucksport Girl's and GSA Girl's Basketball Teams evidently didn't want to leave Ralph Jewett Gymnasium on Monday, December 20th as they played a QUADRUPLE Overtime game, with GSA finally winning 67-60.

The game was a relatively low scoring affair through the end of the 3rd Quarter. In the 1st Quarter GSA led 10-7. At the Half, Bucksport was up 17-14 and at the end of the 3rd Quarter, GSA was up 26-25. The score was tied 41-41 after regulation, and then the teams kept playing and playing and playing!

Bucksport was led by Bree Coombs with 28 points and 4 3-pointers. She was 8-10 from the free throw line. Bree Coombs scored 23 of her 28 points in the 4th Quarter and in the 4 Overtimes!  Cassy Coombs had 19 points. Bucksport was 18-27 from the free throw line

Morgan Dauk who last week scored her 1000th point, led all scorers with 38 points. Mazie Smallidge had 9 points. Sarah Mullen and Mallory Charette had 3-pointers for the Eagles GSA was 13-24 from the free throw line.

Bucksport is 1-2 on the season and will play host to Deer Isle-Stonington on Thursday, December 22nd at 7 PM

GSA is 3-0 and plays host to Sumner on Wednesday, December 21st at 7 PM.
