Bucksport Girls Fall in Semifinals

The Bucksport Girl's Soccer Team fell to Orono 4-0 on Saturday, October 29th in the Class C Semifinals, ending the Lady Bucks fantastic season.

Orono’s Becca Gallandt scored the first goal of the game, with Orono’s Becky Lopez-Anido scoring soon after with 30:32 left in the first half. Lopez-Anido scored again to end the first half, giving Orono a 3-0 lead.

In the second half Orono scored once again, with the goal coming from Brinsley Chasse to make the the score 4-0.

Bucksport’s Bree Coombs had 12 saves on 16 shots. Orono’s Katelyn Richards had 5 saves on 5 shots.

Bucksport ends the season with a 10-5-1 record. Orono the number 1 seed will play host to the second seed Houlton, on Wednesday, November 2nd in the Class C North Regional Finals.
