The Boston Red Sox bullpen failed its first test since finding out closer Koji Uehara would be lost for the season as they blew a 4-run lead and lose to Miami 5-4 in 10 innings.The Marlins cut the lead in half in the bottom of the 6th inning off Sox starter Steven Wright which led to the bullpen taking over.

Ichiro Suzuki came up with a sacrifice fly in the 7th inning off Alexi Ogando. With no Uehara Boston called upon Junichi Tazawa to close out the game but allowed a game tying sacrifice fly to Adeiny Hechavarria.

In the bottom of the 10th Craig Breslow entered the game and served up a leadoff triple to Dee Gordon followed by an intentional walk to Martin Prado setting up the walk-off single to left center field by Justin Bour.

Mookie Betts led the Sox in the loss with 3 hits and 2 rbi while Jackie Bradley Jr. added 2 hits, 2 rbi and a spectacular catch in left field.

Eduardo Rodriguez will take the mound in the series finale this afternoon with the pregame beginning at 3:35 and first pitch at 4:10 on AM 1370 WDEA
