BH Chamber Announces Winners

The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of various awards that will be presented at the annual dinner which will be held at the Bar Harbor Club on October 21, 2014.This year, the Chamber will be presenting five awards.

Business Sustaining Member of the Year Award - R.M. Flagg
Presented to a business located outside of Bar Harbor.

The Rising Star Award: Acadian Nature Cruises
Presented to a business demonstrating marked growth and prominence.

The Environmental Leader Award: Diver Ed
Presented to a business  that has shown leadership in the community through its sustainable practices.

The Business of the Year Award: Window Panes
Presented to a member who has demonstrated excellence in operations and performance over the past twelve months.

President’s Award: Bar Harbor Brass Week
New this year,the President's Award will recognize a business or organization that has demonstrated an exceptional and sustained dedication to the community through their work and efforts—providing a selfless support of the intangible qualities that make Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island the unique community that it is.
