There is a power outage in the towns of Enfield, Howland, Lowell, Passadumkeag, Greenbush and surrounding communities. The cause is under investigation and Bangor Hydro Electric Company's crews are working to safely and quickly address the issue and restore service.

Restoration Details: | Bangor Hydro crews are working to resolve a problem at a substation in Enfield this morning which knocked out power to more than 2,700 customers. Towns affected include Enfield, Howland, Lowell, Passadumkeag, Greenbush and surrounding communities. The cause is under investigation and crews are working to safely and quickly address the issue and restore service. Customers are reminded to never touch a downed line or a tree in contact with one, and those using alternate heating sources should be sure to follow manufacturer safety precautions. | |
