Maine’s Domestic Abuse Homicide Review Panel Releases Information [Full Report]
There were 26 homicides in Maine in 2013, and according to the Department of Public Safety, 12 of them were domestic violence related. Back in 1997, the state legislature mandated the creation of the Domestic Abuse Homicide Review Panel, and it's been required to review the homicide cases involving domestic violence in order to prepare recommendations for change.

Dover-Foxcroft Shooting Victim Identified
The case is still an active investigation but police in Dover-Foxcroft identify one of the men involved in a fight earlier this week. Three men were hospitalized after a fight broke out in Dover-Foxcroft early Tuesday morning.
Bangor Man Faces Charges in Trenton Hit and Run
A Bangor man faces several charges after leaving the scene of a crash in Trenton that caused a lot of disruption. The crash was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday and the Hancock County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on the scene on Route 3 to discover a Jeep and a broken utility pole, but no driver.

A lot of people are without power this morning as the result of a hit and run crash in Hancock County. The Hancock County Sheriff’s department has the Jeep that crashed into a utility pole this morning on Route 3 in Trenton but the driver wasn't in the vehicle.
3 Men Hurt in Fight in Dover-Foxcroft
Dover-Foxcroft Police Chief Dennis Dyer says 3 men have been hospitalized as the result of an early morning fight. The call came into police around 6 this morning from Lancaster Avenue in Dover-Foxcroft.

Many rivers and streams in Maine remain under flood watches and warnings, and low lying areas prone to Spring floods are underwater. The town of Dexter is waiting for the rushing water to recede before they can begin to assess and repair damages sustained.
Flooding Claims a Life in Maine
Maine's rivers and streams are swollen with many spilling over their banks with the recent rain and the flooding is being blamed for one death. The Warden Service says a man was killed when he was swept away by fast moving water.
