Maine’s Domestic Abuse Homicide Review Panel Releases Information [Full Report]
There were 26 homicides in Maine in 2013, and according to the Department of Public Safety, 12 of them were domestic violence related.
Back in 1997, the state legislature mandated the creation of the Domestic Abuse Homicide Review Panel, and it's been required to review the homicide cases involving domestic violence in order to prepare recommendations for change.

A Bangor man faces several charges after leaving the scene of a crash in Trenton that caused a lot of disruption.
The crash was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday and the Hancock County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on the scene on Route 3 to discover a Jeep and a broken utility pole, but no driver.
